The wage guideline for 2018 is recently published jointly by Labor Union, Entrepreneur Association and Industry Union: the average is 8% and the bottom line is 3%.
Wage guideline plays an important role in confirming the increase of wage between the employer and employee, and is recently becoming a crucial reference in democratic management such as collective consultation on wages between labor union and the employer.
The average wage guideline is 8%, a reference to raise wage for those enterprises that running properly. For those enterprises whose average wage is twice the local average, the increase shall be lower than the average line; for those whose average wage is 60% of the local average, the increase shall be higher.
The bottom line is 3%, a reference for those enterprises whose economic benefit decreased. For those in financial trouble and low economic efficiency, the amplification can be lower than the bottom line.
In the mean time, Labor Union, Entrepreneur Association and Industry Union jointly request that the enterprises shall confirm the amplification of wage and wage of different levels through democratic management such as collective consultation to accelerate the development of enterprise, protect the employee’s right, protect the harmony of labor relation; efforts shall be made to increase the wage of the workers at the production line, that shall not be lower than the average line, and for those senior management, the amplification shall be lower than the average line.
