The National Medical Security Bureau reported that the urban and rural resident medical insurance will be implemented comprehensively in 2019.
It is said that recently the Medical Insurance Bureau, together with Financial Department, Human Resource Department and National Hygiene and Health Committee issued the Notice on Well-built of Urban and Rural Resident Basic Medical Insurance in 2018. The notice confirmed the advance of rural and urban medical insurance system, including the combination and the proposal of combination.
The Notice describes that the medical insurance financial subsidy and personal contribution rate shall be raised at the same time. The subsidy would rise 40 yuan than the standard of 2017, amounting to 490 annually per year. and the personal contribution rate also raise 40 yuan, amounting to 220 yuan annually per year.
The Notice arrange the medical treatment in different provinces by improving the settlement of different province medical treatment.
Expert in National Medical Insurance Bureau say that the Notice, for the first time, from the national prospect, deploys urban and rural medical insurance combination.
