Sui frankly told:” although salary in Shanghai is higher than hometown, but the life cost is not low, especially living and eating cannot be saved.” She wished to find a recruiter who provide food and accommodation and 5000RMB or more salary, otherwise they are not willing to submit a resume.

 

More Than 80% Recruiters Expressing 10% Raise is Easier than Offering Food and Accommodation

Since the salary demand increases, to raise salary is the most direct method. The journalist noticed among the more than 200 positions on site, less than 20% positions are offering less than 4000RMB basic salary. Most recruiters rise about 500-1000RMB compared to past years, around 10% percentage gain. But the recruiters also face huge pressure arising from the huge raise, which affect the benefit.

BASF, the chemical enterprise gives the solution of Long-term Employee Award. According to their principal of Human Resource Department, BASF gives 8% raise of annual salary, the employees can get it after 3 years in BASF, and get in one time after 5 years. The principal says:”we focus on the long-term development, it’s not realistic to increase base salary one-time.” He introduces that the enterprise has variable encouragement in salary and positions, but same as most other enterprises, they find it hard to satisfy the food and accommodation requirement for migrant workers.
