On November 27, 2020, Shanghai Tang & Partners Law firm, together with Shanghai Jiajing Human Service Co.. Ltd, had successfully held the “Prevention from the Legal Risks on Human Resources Management in the Post Anti-COVID-19 Period” theme convention at Shanghai International Trade Center.
The year 2020 is about to end, but the ominous dark clouds named COVID-19 is still folding on the global economy. In response, our government has issued a large number of policies and regulations to help companies to overcome this crisis in all aspects. At the same time, the labor disputes coursed by working at home, pay cut and layoff are springing sharply.
New situation, new policy, new characteristics and new countermeasures.
In view of such new situation in the post anti-COVID-19 period, Shanghai Tang & Partners Law firm, together with Shanghai Jiajing Human Service Co.. Ltd, hosted this convention to analyze the new policies of supporting companies and stabilizing posts, and new characters of the labor disputes. New countermeasures and suggestions were also provided to our customers to prevent them from the legal risks of human resources management in the post anti-COVID-19 period, for better development of companies!
Despite the big drop in temperature and the wild weather, all guests come on time. There was no empty seat in the convention hall.
This convention has three main parts: “Continuous Policy Preferences”, “Core Characteristics of Recent Labor Disputes” and “Countermeasures and Suggestions to Several Disputes”
In the first part, Tony Tang, the director of Shanghai Tang & Partners Law firm, mainly analyzed the preferential policies such as six “Stability” and six ”Protection”.
Linked to the relevant data and the central instructions, it was emphasized that the core of this series of policies is to stabilize and ensure employment. After the meeting, many guests expressed that although they had read some relative politic articles, they had never heard such simple and clear analysis as given by director Tang.

In the second part, director Tang mainly introduced the core characteristics and distribution of recent labor disputes. A guest told to me that before this convention, the leaders of her company were confused about why the labor disputes with their company happened rather often than in last few years, and even held a meeting to discuss.
Today, through this convention, she finally understood that the number of labor disputes was remaining at a high level in the Post Anti-COVID-19 Period, especially in specific industries and posts.
